Home Birth Story

How my home birth experience fortified me to be the mother I am today… Being a first time mom I did know what to expect from the birthing experience. Even after reading or listening to others experiences, everyone’s story is different so there would have been no way of knowing how it would be forContinue reading “Home Birth Story”

Climb

When I was asked to do this commission I was thrilled. It was for a dear friend’s wedding gift.  I wanted to create something that when they viewed it it would bring them to a place thats meaningful. They are natural explores and rock climbing is their jam. I knew it had to be a rockContinue reading “Climb”

Still

This commission was done for my Aunt this last winter. After we had gone over some options together for the landscape we arrived in the snowy winter plain. West can Seawall on a Sunny Summer Morning. 30”x40”. Waterbased Oil. This one feels like it marks the completion of an era. I bought this canvas before the birth of our son & we’ve recently finished our bond of nursing together, sleeping in the same bed (mostly lol, I still love it sometimes), and slowly he’s individuating into his own self. So while this transition from “baby” phase is ending, I feel This style I’ve been creating and nursing for the last 6 since our first pregnancy with our first child has also come to fruition and something else is wanting to emerge. It is detailed, exacting , seeking perfection, but it’s missing some play and joy. And so while it’s sharpened by senses and abilities, I’ll be switching it up! New subject, new style, new approach…Stay tuned! Painting one nap at a time 👩🏻‍🎨🎨💞👶🏻 Sweet sweet summer and our sweet sweet family. How fleeting the days are. Sometimes I just wishes I would have hrs and hrs to paint and I do just wish that but honestly I’m sure there will be more days in my life I will be longing to hold these little hands. It’s a gift. I won’t wait for life to be better then, our life is great now 💗#mommalife #westcoastlife #perspective #gratitude Todays Progress Rocked 😉😅 #progress #landscapepaintings #oilpaintings Happy Birthday beautiful man of mine. You always have my back and I’m sorry I’m always on yours 😅 jk, and I’ve got yours too. It’s one hell of ride and I’m so glad it’s with you 💛🧡🥳 May this year bring all the blessing and joys and adventures 🧡💛
